On the Mark opened in the East Village in 2009. Today it sits on Wythe Ave, a short walk from Domino Park. Same hands, better light, more room to breathe.

01How much is a haircut?

A regular cut is $50, $55 with a wash. Every service and price is on the board.

02I'm not sure how to explain what I want.

That's fine. Bring a photo if you have one, or tell us what you liked and didn't like about your last cut. We talk it through before anything gets cut.

03Can you handle my hair? Curly, thick, Asian, long.

Yes. Straight Asian hair, long wavy hair, mixed curls, thick coarse hair. All of it comes through the shop every week and gets the same unrushed attention.

04Do I need an appointment, or can I walk in?

Book online to lock in your time and your barber. Walk-ins are welcome when a chair is open, and earlier in the day your odds are better.

05Which barber should I pick?

Any of them. Mark, Salvo and Freddie each take their time. Want the soonest opening? Pick Any. Want the same hands every visit? Pick a name.

06How do I pay?

Card or cash at the shop. Nothing is charged online when you book.

07What if I'm late or need to cancel?

Cancel or move your appointment from the link in your confirmation. Please give us 24 hours notice. Running late? Call the shop and we'll hold the chair when we can.

08Do you cut kids' hair?

Yes. Book a Haircut, same price as an adult cut.
